Your new role
As a Material & Process Engineer, you will play a key role in optimising manufacturing processes, improving material performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. You will work closely with production, quality, and design teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing outputs.Key responsibilities will include:
Developing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality
Selecting and evaluating materials to meet product and performance requirements
Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for process and material issues
Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities
Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
Collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure material compliance and performance
Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standardsWhat you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A degree in Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors)
Strong knowledge of materials science, processing techniques, and manufacturing systems
Experience with process improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
