Job Description
* Assisting with preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Supporting the accounting team with ledger management and reconciliation.
* Helping in the management of accounts payable and receivable.
* Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
* Participating in audits and ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.
* Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
* Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all financial information.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
* A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
* Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
* Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
* A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* An ability to work in a team and foster a positive work environment.
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
