We are looking for an experienced Data and Audience Insight Manager to join the Commercial team to help develop our research, audience insight, and data capabilities. The role involves working with our Permutive DMP, developing audience segments, supporting revenue growth, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Working with internal teams such as sales, product, editorial, and marketing to capture 1st party data across all properties and devices.
2. Supporting the business with segmentation creation and execution to grow audience revenues globally.
3. Maximising yield and addressability performance of campaigns utilising HELLO!’s audience products.
4. Developing and launching new audience products to increase yield and revenue.
5. Supporting pre-sales and go-to-market strategies and materials.
6. Championing the DMP and its benefits across the company.
7. Working with operations and campaign management to optimise campaign delivery using the DMP.
8. Collaborating with external partners and suppliers to meet revenue targets.
9. Supporting the sales team with audience research for briefs and leads.
10. Developing DMP use cases, user guides, and playbooks.
11. Feeding into the group’s overall audience data strategy.
12. Acting as a data consultant to clients and agencies, evangelising the data offering.
13. Testing and integrating audience targeting solutions.
14. Running internal audience surveys to improve data capture and segmentation.
15. Developing internal reports on data product utilisation and effectiveness.
16. Reporting on market performance and benchmarking against peer publishers.
17. Reporting on revenue by client category, site sections, and ad units to inform strategy.
Your profile
* Deep understanding of the benefits of a DMP for a publisher and potential advertising products.
* Experience with ad technology vendors and platforms, including Google Ad Manager.
* Strong analytical skills and confidence in data usage.
Experience
Permutive experience is essential.
* Understanding of how a DMP benefits a publisher and develops advertising products.
* Experience with ad technology platforms, especially Google Ad Manager.
* Robust analytical abilities and data confidence.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Commercial acumen and ability to produce business cases.
* Experience with reporting tools such as QlikView, GAM, Google Data Studio, or similar.
* Ability to structure and analyse complex problems.
* Clear communication skills for diverse audiences.
