Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
* Manage sourcing for multi-million-pound medium cost and business risk opportunities.
* Develop and implement sourcing processes from requirements to contract signature.
* Deliver significant commercial and contractual value aligned with annual savings targets.
* Implement Integrated Category Strategies (ICS) and manage sourcing pipelines.
* Apply Sourcing Framework for opportunities £100m–£300m, including risk, governance, legislative, and regulatory compliance.
* Negotiate sourcing opportunities, ensuring maximum savings and benefit delivery.
* Develop sourcing innovation and business cases to solve complex challenges.
* Ensure seamless handover to Strategic Supplier Management post-contract signature.
* Demand manage and challenge customer/stakeholder requirements to maximize value.
* Lead continuous improvement activities, customer satisfaction surveys, and market sourcing practices to drive best-in-class procurement capability
* Degree in Business or Economics (or equivalent experience).
* Extensive sourcing experience with proven savings delivery.
* Strong negotiation, dispute resolution, and contract law knowledge.
* Ability to drive value from complex sourcing opportunities.
* Experience in agile, cross-functional collaboration.
* Politically savvy with executive-level influencing skills.
* Problem-solving capability for complex sourcing challenges.
