Job overview


We wish to appoint an experienced Assistant SENDCO with experience in all areas of SEND need including social, emotional, behavioral and health/medical needs.

The role will also involve carrying out SEND administration duties and the co-ordination and deployment of Learning Support Assistants within the school.

North Liverpool Academy offers excellent SEND provision and has a learning/calm space for students as well as a sensory room. We work collaboratively with external agencies to provide the right support for our most vulnerable students.

How are staff supported?

All staff are supported in both their career progression and aspirations, from tailored CPD to coaching and mentoring programmes, and also with their wellbeing.

We have a dedicated wellbeing team and a number of mental health 1st aiders on site who can support and signpost staff to various organisations.
