We are representing a large well known organisation who are looking to hire a Financial Controller for a 9 month contract in the Broughton area.

Responsibilities will include:
Drive the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across all business units, ensuring robust financial planning and consistency with company financial objectives
Contribute, working closely with the local business / operational managers, in defining / proposing the list of improvement projects
Manage the provision of financial reporting
Challenge operational performance and support / advise management in achieving their targets by driving improvement measures and mitigation actions on all financial topics
Participate in the assessment of business cases / proposals
Financial controlling activity in the categories: Recurring Cost, Inventory, Non-Recurring Cost and Capex Jigs / Tools (on request)
About you:
* Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA), with good experience in business partnering, forecasting and variance analysis.
* Ideally you will have worked in a manufacturing or commercial environment in a management accounting or business partnering role.
* You will have good knowledge and experience in SAP or equivalent financial reporting tools
* You will have strong communication skills to liaise both internally and with external clients
* You will have a continuous improvement mindset
This role will require 80% onsite presence after the initial settling in period, which will require 100% onsite presence.
