Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the team at the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, Nuffield Department of Medicine. You will work collaboratively with the Health Systems Collaborative at the University of Oxford and the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) in Kenya. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will bring theoretical and practical expertise in topics such as empirical ethics, governance, power relations in health and research systems, and organizational and team functioning. You will be responsible for managing your own academic research and administrative activities, including small-scale project management. You will develop and lead a literature review on AMR ethics and governance, including proposal development, data extraction, and report writing. This role also involves collaborating on and preparing research publications, presenting findings, and acting as a source of information and advice to other members of the group. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you hold a PhD/DPhil (or close to completion) in health-related topics such as health system governance, resilience/responsiveness, organizational management, human behavior, or empirical ethics, along with relevant experience. You should demonstrate fully developed skills in document review, scoping reviews, or systematic reviews. You must be capable of managing your own academic research, producing and publishing high-quality research, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience in contributing to postgraduate teaching or education is highly desirable.
