Electrical Project Manager
Our client is a specialist M&E contractor delivering electrical works within critical environments. They are currently seeking a hands‑on Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical installations in the City of London.
The role will require close collaboration with numerous stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will be a key contributor from conception, through the design stages, managing the delivery and ensuring that each project is successfully handed over and closed out in a professional manner to the highest of standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day hands‑on management of electrical works on site.
* Supervising and coordinating electrical subcontractors and direct labour.
* Ensuring works are delivered safely within live, critical environments.
* Maintaining strict adherence to health & safety, method statements, and permits.
* Managing quality control, inspections, testing, and snagging.
* Coordinating works around live operations and restricted access areas.
* Liaising closely with Project Managers, clients, and site teams.
* Reporting progress, issues, and risks from site.
The Ideal Electrical Project Manager Will Have
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems.
* Experience delivering projects or packages up to £750k.
* Comfortable in a hands‑on, site‑based role.
* Strong understanding of health & safety within regulated building and construction environments.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* DBS check (or willingness to get one).
* Flexibility to travel as required.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + travel allowance (DOE)
