Recruitment Consultant

Roche, Cornwall | IT Technology Recruitment

A growing London-based technology recruitment business is looking to hire an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join its expanding Cornwall team.

With an established presence in London and a successful office in Roche, Cornwall, the business is continuing to invest in its growth, with a brand-new Cornwall office opening in July. The team already consists of 11 experienced consultants and support staff, making this an exciting opportunity to join a business with genuine momentum and a strong foundation for future growth.

This role would suit someone with at least 12 months' experience in recruitment or a sales-focused environment who is looking for a long-term career with excellent earning potential and progression opportunities.

The Opportunity

Working as a 360 Recruitment Consultant, the successful candidate will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, combining business development, client management and candidate delivery within the technology sector.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
2. Building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers and senior decision-makers.
3. Managing recruitment assignments from initial brief through to offer stage.
4. Sourcing, interviewing and engaging high-quality technology professionals.
5. Developing a specialist market and building a strong personal network.
6. Negotiating commercial terms and placement offers.
7. Generating and managing a pipeline of permanent and contract opportunities.
8. Attending regular client meetings in London and across the UK, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered.

About You

The business is looking for someone who is:

9. Experienced within recruitment or a sales-driven role (minimum 1 year).
10. Confident communicating with a wide range of people.

Package & Benefits

16. £26,000 basic salary + Commision
17. Realistic first-year OTE of £35,000-£40,000.
18. Uncapped commission structure.
19. Regular client meetings in London with all travel expenses paid.
