Construction Logistics Manager - 2-Year Project (Edinburgh) We're on the lookout for an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to join our team for a major 2-year project based in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity to take the lead on all things logistics - from planning and deliveries to managing kit on-site. About the Role: You'll be the go-to person for keeping our site moving smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers, you'll develop and implement smart logistics strategies that support every phase of the construction process. What You'll Be Doing: Logistics Planning & Strategy Create detailed logistics plans and schedules that align with the construction programme Design site layout plans (access roads, laydown areas, storage zones etc.) Collaborate with the wider project team to ensure logistics is fully integrated into the build process Material Handling & Deliveries Oversee the delivery, storage, and distribution of materials Make sure materials arrive on time and in the right place - no bottlenecks, no delays Work with suppliers to optimise routes and timings Inventory & Equipment Management Keep tabs on inventory so the team always has what they need Manage site equipment - making sure it's where it should be and in good nick Prevent any unnecessary losses, damage or downtime What We're Looking For: Solid background in construction logistics or site management Great at planning ahead, solving problems, and keeping things organised Strong communicator - you'll be dealing with a lot of moving parts (and people!)
