Our client are specialists in their market sector, they have an outstanding opportunity for an Assembly Fitter to join them on a permanent basis. If you are a highly experienced Fitter who has worked in a Machine Shop/hydraulics background this role could be ideal for you.
The Job youll do
1. Be involved with the de-burring and dressing machined components, using a variety of powered and non-powered tools in preparation for final inspection.
2. Ensure component cleanliness.
3. Carry out various testing of manufactured and assemble components, including fluid gravity tests and pressure testing using various methods.
4. Carry out checks of the components for adherence to drawings using a variety of inspection equipment including micrometers, surtronics, vernier calipers etc.
5. Assist in identifying and utilising the most effective and efficient method of checking components.
6. Identify non-conforming items via the companys NCR system and maintenance of inspection status.
7. Record quality data where planned by the company.
