Consultant Clinical Oncologist – Urology Malignancy

About the role
We are working in partnership with an NHS service in Oxford to recruit a Consultant Clinical Oncologist experience in Urology Malignancy to join a supportive and forward-thinking department on a substantive basis. Experience in Gynaecological Oncology would be a bonus.

Key Responsibilities
* Take clinical ownership for a defined, site-specific workload within breast oncology and an additional tumour site.
* Contribute to medical leadership, service development, and innovation within oncology services.
* Support and provide training and supervision to non-consultant grade doctors.
* Promote interdisciplinary working within the department and across the wider hospital.
* Ensure care is delivered in line with current standards and evidence-based practice.
* Participate in clinical audit, including departmental and multidisciplinary audit programmes.
* Contribute to research activity and innovative practice within oncology.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Training – Essential
* Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise
* Completion of higher specialist training in Clinical Oncology
* Entry on the GMC Specialist Register
Desirable
* Higher degree
