Our Ambulatory Care Unit/Ward Team in Shrewsbury Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Staff Nurse. Start your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.
To be considered as a Staff Nurse, you'll be qualified with an appropriate professional body, such as NMC. You'll possess skills to support the variety of specialties and have an interest in ophthalmology. You will have a passion for delivering excellent and individually tailored patient care. Your excellent communications skills will ensure your integration into our multidisciplinary team and you'll possess the proven ability to work autonomously and flexibly.

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 24 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care ward/Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.
We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
