About Us

Your Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to fostering. You will play a crucial role in:
* Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, ensuring high-quality supervision.
* Offering regular supervision to allocated foster parents, monitoring their practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes.
What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Previous experience in children and families social work.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
* A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes quality assurance and training responsibilities for both prospective and current foster parents. You will need to be an excellent report writer and able to meet strict deadlines.
