The Public Area Cleaner is responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across all hotel public spaces. You will ensure that guest-facing areas are welcoming, immaculate, and reflective of the hotel’s quality standards, playing a key role in creating a positive first and lasting impression. Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, lounges, corridors, restrooms, lifts, and stairwells Ensure public spaces are consistently clean, tidy, and well presented throughout the day Monitor and replenish supplies in public restrooms as required Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards Follow correct cleaning procedures and safe use of chemicals and equipment Respond courteously to guest enquiries when approached Support housekeeping and other departments as required Ensure Health and Safety compliance within the department Adhere to hygiene, safety, and security procedures at all times About You If you’re our ideal Public Area Cleaner, you will have: Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in hotels (preferred but not essential) A strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards A reliable, professional, and positive attitude The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
