We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and committed band 6 A&E registered nurses to join our temporary staffing bank. You can choose flexible working patterns in our emergency departments, working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
Working shifts as a bank registered A&E nurse across our emergency departments, delivering high-quality care in line with trust values.
You will assess and provide total patient care in a fast-paced environment, including medical and surgical assessments, managing deteriorating patients, supporting mental health needs, and working in various department areas such as majors, minors, resuscitation, triage, phlebotomy, cannulation, ECG recording, and cardiac monitoring. Providing guidance to junior staff is also required.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will assess care needs, develop and evaluate care programs with the multidisciplinary team and families, and may take charge of the department in the absence of the responsible person. Supervising and teaching junior staff is expected. In major incidents, support and response are required as directed.
As part of ongoing COVID-19 measures, full vaccination is mandatory for roles involving face-to-face patient contact from 1 April 2022, with evidence required by 3 February 2022, unless exempt.
