About The Role
We are growing our electrical division to meet the ever-increasing needs of our expanding business.
To help us achieve this, we are looking for a Mobile Electrician to work within our team in the Middlesbrough area.
Within this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment between branches and customer sites across the north region in a safe, professional, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have practical electrical engineering skills and experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with participation in an on-call rota, which can be variable depending on business needs.
Applicants must hold an ECS Gold Card or have relevant qualifications or experience in Electrical Installations to obtain one.
Responsibilities:
* You will carry out electrical installation work efficiently in accordance with current I.E.E. Regulations for Electrical Installations and Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
* Maintain, install, service, and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and customer units as required, adhering to legislative standards.
* Produce reports and estimates for repairing set units and advise on safety issues as necessary.
* Maintain good housekeeping standards, ensuring work areas and vehicles are kept in good order and clean.
* Adhere to all necessary Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
* Communicate regularly and effectively with your manager and all internal and external customers and stakeholders regarding business and customer expectations on timelines, quality, and service levels.
* Work independently to manage your workload and call outs.
* Attend call outs for the branch as part of a call-out rota.
* This role is subject to a safety-critical medical.
Qualifications:
Essential: JIB Qualified Electrician with the ability to meet ECS Gold Card requirements. Preferred: 18th Edition.
Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided).
