Complex Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities
Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and develop your skills with full training and ongoing clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, catheter care, moving and handling equipment, and medication administration.
In this role, you’ll provide overnight support to a child with complex care needs, with key responsibilities focused on monitoring their tracheostomy, suctioning, managing PEG feeds and administering medication. Qualifications
Complex Care Assistant Job: Skills & Requirements
Previous experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:
* PEG feeding
* Suctioning
* Medication Administration
The only essential requirement for this position is previous experience in caring for service users with tracheostomies.
