We have an exciting temporary opportunity to provide maternity cover for the support of the visual arts programme. You will oversee the programme to ensure high standards of service delivery for residents within East Renfrewshire and the wider public. You will provide effective line management and supervision of ERCL Visual Arts Tutors and Assistants, and ensure appropriate staffing for the delivery of the service and class programme/events, making it accessible for participants.
We need someone who has a degree in arts, community development, or a similar field. You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, problem solve, and use professional judgement. You will also work closely with our Arts and Heritage team, Community Facilities, and Business Support staff as part of the day-to-day programme delivery; strong communication skills are essential.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience developing a range of arts projects to increase participation in the arts and promote access to services.
