We are looking for a leader to motivate, mentor, and develop a team of Engineering Specialists. As the Shift Equipment Technician Manager, you will oversee planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance across a wide range of complex manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities
* Manage team of Technicians, including the effective communication of goals, providing training and development opportunities and providing feedback on performance in a high performing team environment.
* Comply with Health & Safety procedures including the reporting of accidents/incidents/work related illnesses, regular safety audits, compliance with standard operating procedures.
* Report on the condition of equipment, analysing patterns of break downs and ensure preventative maintenance is completed on schedule as per the maintenance database system.
* Take the lead in downtime situations to resolve issues, providing an immediate response and timely resolution.
* Adapt plans and manage changes that arise because of priority adjustments, resources, policies, organisation changes or technology.
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness.
* Provide engineering advice and support to site operational teams regarding equipment performance.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Relevant Level 4 Qualification (e.g Technical or Management) or a relevant Level 3 Qualification with 3 years relevant experience (e.g Technical or Management).
* Demonstrated leadership capability within a high performing team environment.
