The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and independent Content Designer to join our vibrant team, contributing to the visual identity and campaigns for the client.

This pivotal hybrid role sits at the heart of our visual content creation, translating strategic insights into compelling visual ideas. You will be responsible for developing high-quality visual designs for various marketing materials, creating engaging storyboards and mockups, and ensuring designs are technically sound and optimised for different media. Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualisation & Visual Design:

* Contribute to ideation and develop original, innovative creative concepts that align with strategic objectives.

* Translate insights and briefs into visually compelling ideas and design solutions.

* Push creative boundaries and generate multiple design concepts for review.

* Develop high-quality visual designs for various marketing materials across digital, social, web, print, and other channels.

* Create engaging storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to visualise concepts.

Technical Execution & Optimisation:

* Ensure designs are technically sound, production-ready, and optimised for different media and platforms.

* Maintain brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all visual outputs.

WPP Open & Continuous Improvement:

* Leverage WPP Open for data insights, specialist collaboration, and workflow streamlining to enhance creative effectiveness.

* Develop a deep understanding and guardianship of News UK brands, ensuring visual integrity.

* Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, continuously expanding skills and knowledge.

Key Attributes & Skills:

* Strong Portfolio: You possess a compelling portfolio showcasing your conceptual thinking and exceptional visual design skills across various media.

* Excellent Visual Communication: You have a proven ability to communicate complex ideas visually and create designs that resonate with target audiences.

* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: You are highly proficient in industry-standard design software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant tools.

* Understanding of Design Principles: You have a solid grasp of design principles, including typography, colour theory, layout, and composition.

* Adaptable: You are comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
