Job Description Programme Lead – Aftermarket Off-Wing Operations Full-Time Derby/Hybrid We have an exciting opportunity to join the Aftermarket Off-Wing Operations organisation and are seeking a highly driven individual to join as a Programme Lead in a pivotal area of the business. This role offers the opportunity to shape and influence Aftermarket Off-Wing Operations growth journey throughout our global overhaul network by playing a key part in embedding new network capacity and capability across the organisation. With a broad scope and high visibility, you’ll leverage data, systems, key stakeholder management and insight to drive real change in the efficiency and performance within our network. What you will be doing: The successful individual will be driven, structured, process focused & show strong levels of agility to manage the great variety the role has to offer. In your role as a Programme Lead, you will take responsibility for the delivery of integral projects and programmes within the network​. This role ensures solutions are developed and embedded to improve service readiness, supplier performance and end-to-end network efficiency in line with project objectives. You will achieve this through working closely with Overhaul Base Teams, Business Development & Capability, Value stream teams and MRO providers. In this role, you’ll be accountable for projects such as OHB Network & Test Bed Capability Deployment, 2RF & MRF Readiness Programmes, OHB & Repair Vendor Capability transfer & industrialisation. Specific programmes will be determined at the start date of the successful applicant. Key Responsibilities: Project / Programme Delivery – Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of assigned complex programmes and projects that support strategic capacity and capability growth across the global services & repair network. Stakeholder Coordination – Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Procurement, Vendor Teams, Site Leads and value streams to align project activities and deliverables. Capacity Planning and Enablement – Support the development and implementation of initiatives that unlock capacity across overhaul facilities and external repair vendor sites, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and capability plans. Change Implementation – Deliver global changes in processes, ways of working or capability deployment to support readiness including training plans, tools and standardisation packages. Performance and Progress Tracking – Monitor, track and report on key deliverables, milestones and risks. Provide timely updates to the programme lead and escalate any issues where required to maintain delivery momentum. Documentation and Governance – Maintain accurate project records and adhere to agreed governance and compliance frameworks. Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to streamline service readiness activities, enhance and embed lessons learnt into future projects. Key Experience & Qualifications (Preferred): Experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Project Delivery roles. Strong project co-ordination skills, able to manage multiple deliverables and stakeholders. Excellent communication and relationship building skills across technical and non-technical skills. Analytical and problem-solving mindset; confident using data to support recommendations. Comfortable working in a fast paced, global environment with changing priorities. Strong technical, operational, and / or Services background and ideally have experience of working with Civil Aero Engines, with a good understanding of engine maintenance processes and airline operations. Clear, concise communicator who can influence colleagues at all levels and communicate vision and purpose to a developing team and organisation. Can also communicate complicated operational status’, with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet demanding deadlines. Good business acumen and ability to deal with ambiguity in a changing fast paced environment. Ability to solve complex problems while maintaining customer focus. Be able to create and develop a strong network a relationship across the business in support of operational delivery.
