Job Title: Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor – Remote

The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for managing your own conveyancing caseload, with full ownership from instruction through to completion. Although based remotely, or in the Lincoln office, you’ll be fully supported by onboarding, post-completion, and admin teams. Your work will cover a wide variety of residential property matters, offering you opportunity, variety, and exposure.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a variety of property transactions:
* Freehold & leasehold sales and purchases
* New build and shared ownership transactions
* Remortgages and transfers of equity
* Regular client communication (phone, email, occasionally in person)
* Build and maintain relationships with external referrers (estate agents, mortgage brokers, developers etc.)
* Maintain and update case management systems accurately
* Conduct title checks, raise enquiries, check mortgage offers and searches
* Perform due diligence and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with firm policy
* Exchange contracts and oversee completion of transactions
* Manage your caseload independently but with access to administrative and post-completion support
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Experience in a high-volume residential conveyancing environment
* Strong experience of title checking and raising enquiries
* Comfortable handling a full spectrum of residential transactions (sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, etc.)
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and referrers
* Good organisational skills, able to manage multiple files and meet deadlines
* Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision, using digital tools and case management systems
