The Last Mile team within Amazon Logistics is seeking an experienced Fleet Sourcing Manager to lead Amazon's Last Mile mobility procurement as we expand into additional mobility solutions.

The Sr Fleet Sourcing Manager will oversee the global sourcing of tens of thousands of vans annually for Amazon’s Last Mile delivery. Success in this role requires managing complex relationships with external stakeholders and coordinating multiple internal teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team-oriented, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines. Proven experience in end-to-end procurement, team management, and developing effective strategies is essential.
This role may require travel up to 20% of the time.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop and implement the EU sourcing strategy for vehicles, especially vans.
2. Manage the annual sourcing process (RFP) with cross-functional teams to secure future capacity at optimal terms.
3. Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers at the executive level and foster long-term relationships.
4. Own Amazon’s multimillion-dollar van procurement, including securing senior leadership approval.
5. Manage supplier performance across the EU and handle escalations requiring leadership intervention.
6. Challenge partners on timelines, service quality, and potential bottlenecks.
7. Utilize databases and analytical tools for data-driven decision-making.
8. Set goals and independently create action plans to achieve them.
9. Communicate effectively to align all stakeholders with the vision and direction.
10. Engage proactively with various organizational areas to identify dependencies and influence leadership.
A day in the life
* Maintain and grow supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and increase involvement in key initiatives.
* Conduct regular meetings with suppliers to monitor delivery volumes and negotiate cancellations.
* Create and finalize work order contracts compliant with legal and financial standards.
* Manage the supplier database, updating relevant information for the Fleet team and organization.
* Collaborate with Global Corporate Procurement to enhance procurement practices.
* Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders related to fleet operations.
* Expand the supplier pool by profiling and onboarding new suppliers and supporting new initiatives.
* Provide status updates and solutions during leadership reviews.
About the team
The EU Global Fleet & Product team manages Amazon's Last Mile Fleet, including sourcing, supply chain planning, product development, and electrification initiatives.
Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Exceptional Excel and data mining skills
* Experience with external partners and supplier negotiations
* Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate trade-offs
* Effective stakeholder management
Preferred qualifications
* Experience in fleet management and last-mile operations
* Experience working with cross-functional teams
* Knowledge of additional EU languages such as Spanish, German, or French
