Title: Multiskilled (Electrical bias) Maintenance Engineer
Location: Cambuslang, Glasgow
Shifts: Monday - Friday, Days ONLY
Salary: Circa £38,000 - £40,000 Basic (Negotiable)
Benefits: Early finish on Friday + Plus 1 Friday a month off + Overtime Available + 28.5 Days Annual Leave and more… (OTE 50k)
The Company:
My client is a locally recognised food manufacturer that is seeking a senior multi-skilled maintenance engineer with electrical experience within a FMCG manufacturing industry or similar work environment to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
They are a family run business with a growing customer base. Their products have a fantastic reputation in the local area and are supplied nationally to companies and individuals. Therefore they have a unique and varied site which is maintained by a very small close knit team on site so company culture and team fit are very important to them.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be a competent electrically biased multi-skilled engineer comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated automated environment. If you enjoy an energetic and challenging workplace, but also want to be surrounded by a very supportive team this could be the role for you…
You must be able to work well with others, have a positive attitude towards work and want to grow within the company long-term.
The role will include supporting the team in dismantling and replacing machine parts, not only planned and reactive maintenance but continuous improvement projects and installations.
Upholding health and safety regulations in a fast moving automated environment and conducting all mandatory logs. You must be comfortable handling both electrical and mechanical repairs on the conveyor systems and ensure the efficiency of the production line.
Requirements:
1. You must have completed an onsite apprenticeship and hold a HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering
2. Previous experience within an automated food manufacturing site or similar industry.
3. Confident working with conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, plc etc.
4. Experience with planned and reactive maintenance, continuous improvement projects and installations.
5. Enthusiastic to learn and develop and have a can do attitude to work.

6. 12pm Finishes every Friday and "Flexi Friday's" which means at least 1 Friday off work each month!!!!
7. Sick cover available after 2 years

9. Lost of project work and installations
10. Recognised training and progress available - including putting you through your HND
11. Weekly overtime available
12. Paid at double-time on Saturdays and Sundays
