: Position Description The High School Math Teacher is specifically responsible for instructing and supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas. The teacher must develop lesson plans and deliver instruction for HS level courses based on PA standards. Ideal Candidates for the Math Teacher position will have: PA teaching certification for Math 7-12 (or be eligible to acquire Emergency Certification) Experience teaching successfully in an urban setting. Proven effectiveness in leading a group of students with a variety of abilities to each make significant academic gains. Exceptional classroom management skills.
