KS2 Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

£460 - £485 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
Vision for Education is recruiting a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a Primary School in Chester-le-Street (DH3) from after the Easter break. The KS2 Teaching Assistant appointed for the role will be supporting a small group of Year 5 pupils who require additional learning support during lessons. The role is based within the classroom, however some interventions will be done in alternative spaces. This is a ‘Good’ school, where staff go above and beyond to ensure each child has the tools they need to achieve.
Requirements
The desired KS2 Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
