Job Role: SEN Primary Teacher
Contract: Term-time Permanent / 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 – £35,360
Your Purpose: This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people across a range of ages and teach them an engaging and exciting curriculum to further their life chances. We are looking for a suitable candidate to teach lessons to learners on a 1:1 or small group basis.
You will be required to:
1. Plan and deliver quality programmes of study to learners who are hard to engage or have additional needs.
2. Support and maintain a high level of learner engagement through preparation and delivery of an innovative, creative, and flexible curriculum.
3. Support all designated Learning Managers with assessments, pupil tracking, progress reports, and feedback reports to commissioning bodies (e.g., Education, Health and Care plans, KS2, KS3 & KS4 transition planning, and post-16 opportunities).
We Need: We seek a staff member with experience in delivering education to learners aged 7-19, with an understanding of the primary phase being beneficial. All learners have additional needs, so a passion for working with SEN students is essential. Ability to travel between sites within the locality is required, with a valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
