Job Description
3. Process and record incoming payments accurately into the accounting system
4. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment collections
5. Prepare and distribute invoices and account statements to clients
6. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently
7. Assist with month-end reconciliation for accounts receivable
8. Maintain detailed and organised financial records for audits
9. Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account statuses
10. Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and reporting
11. Answering incoming queries over phone/email
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Receivable Assistant should have:
12. Experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role
13. Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools
14. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
15. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
