A leading global consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate or Senior Building Surveyor into its Birmingham team following the upcoming retirement of a highly respected industry figure after four decades with the business.
This is not a repetitive project role. It’s a chance to become a trusted technical advisor within a well established professional services team handling complex, varied and high value instructions across multiple sectors.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership while building your own profile internally and externally within a business known for quality, reputation and long term career development.
What you’ll be doing
* Delivering professional surveying instructions across commercial, industrial, healthcare and private sector clients
* Managing dilapidations, party wall matters, condition surveys and technical reporting
* Supporting expert witness work, rights to light and feasibility studies
* Building strong client relationships and becoming a go to technical contact
* Preparing fee proposals and advising on a broad range of property matters
What they’re looking for
* MRICS qualified preferred, although strong non chartered surveyors will be considered
* Consultancy background within Building Surveying
* Strong professional services experience
* Confident communicator and report writer
* Someone commercially aware, proactive and comfortable working autonomously
Salary & benefits
* £65,000 to £80,000+ depending on level and experience
