Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Health and Safety/Warehouse Operative to work Days, Monday to Friday for an award-winning global document storage company in their warehouse in Stafford with free parking onsite and long-term work!
Hours & Shifts: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Pay Rate: £12.19 per hour
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working in a warehouse-based environment in Stafford with responsibility for the following:
* Keeping up to date with the current H & S regulations
* Updating the health and safety board with key and relevant names/contact details
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Preparing office furniture to be sent to home workers
* Quality Checking office equipment for any faults i.e., chairs, tables, monitor screens, headsets, etc.
* Full inspection process is to be followed
* Complete relevant paperwork to pass or fail equipment
* Use a scanner to check bar codes
* Computer work will also be involved
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following:
* Warehouse Operative experience or similar ideally
* Full training will be provided
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work in a targeted environment
* Good dexterity
The role requires candidates to undergo a basic DBS check and provide verifiable employment/education history as part of the process due to the nature of the client. This is free of charge as Meridian Business Support covers the cost.
