Vetting by Disclosure Scotland
If working in regulated roles (children and/or protected adults), a satisfactory PVG check is required. Some posts may require a Standard or Basic Disclosure, while others will require a Criminal Convictions Form. All checks are obtained via Disclosure Scotland. Successful candidates will need to cover the cost of their disclosure check.
Regulatory Bodies
If your role requires registration with a regulatory body such as HCPC or SSSC, you must obtain and maintain registration, including paying any applicable fees. Local authority staff are no longer required to pay SSSC fees.

Early Years
All early years services are delivered between 8am and 6pm. You must be able to work your contracted hours within this timeframe.
