Role Overview
Service Engineer – ensuring the safety of passengers by safely maintaining a portfolio of lifts and escalator units for Otis. This role involves working across the site to provide technical solutions and maintain a high standard of service.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine service checks on a number of units across the site, recording and escalating findings to the field manager.
* Be the face of the business, often providing updates to clients around work carried out.
* React to sudden breakdowns, working with both passengers and the client to provide a technical solution to breakdown issues.
* Perform minor repairs.
Qualifications
* Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.
* Hold a driver’s licence.
* Have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
* Have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
* Be a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
* Be comfortable communicating to others.
* Be curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
* Be comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
