The Company
A small, highly ambitious digital media and events business which belongs to a larger group of media and tech organisations. They have an autonomous, mature and dynamic working environment where you will be empowered to take ownership of your role and manage your time effectively. When you are not meeting clients, you will be able to split your time between working from their Leceister Sq offices (1-2 days a week) and working from the offices of their larger sister media company in White City.
The role of Digital Account Manager
As Digital Account Manager you would be selling digital display advertising opportunities (branded content, webinars, banners etc) and sponsorship of regular weekly e-newsletters. Additionally you would be selling bespoke client events (roundtables, meetings etc) and conference sponsorship. You will be selling primarily to tech service providers who target the charity sector.
This role offers a great deal of autonomy so if you are someone who enjoys autonomy and likes the idea of taking ownership of a brand, this could be a good fit. You would be selling both to existing and new clients (athough naturally when you first join, more of your time will be focused on finding new clients).
Requirements for this Digital Account Manager position
* Event sponsorship sales experience (ideally)
* Able to work autonomously
* Self motivated and mature
* Confident and articulate
* Strong at closing new business but not aggressive
* Stable career history
