About the Role
Due to yet another significant increase in work Strachan and Kemp Commercial Services Ltd are looking to recruit an additional experienced Painter and Decorator to undertake works on our portfolio of client properties throughout Scotland and in the North of England. Duties will typically include:
* Painting emulsion walls and ceilings to various finishes.
* Painting Eggshell/Satin/Gloss to a finish on woodwork.
* Preparing all surfaces (tape/fill/sand) ready for decoration.
* External painting to various surfaces
The successful candidate will be provided with a company van and fuel card.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a strong background and experience in painting and decorating. It is essential that you have the ability to work on your own, that you have a full, clean, driving license and that you have good all-round experience within this type of role. Van and any specialist tools will be provided but we would expect anyone applying to have their own basic hand tools as standard.
Requirements
Essential
* Full, clean driving licence
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety
* Excellent customer facing skills
* Able to maintain a high standard of organisation and administration
* Punctual, reliable, and flexible
* Good level of physical fitness
* Right to work within the UK
Desirable
* CSCS Card
* Working at Height Training
* Any other skills-based training
