Job Description Were currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients in Newcastle-under-Lyme! This hands-on role involves both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of industrial production machinery.

Youll be working predominantly in Newcastle-under-Lyme with occasional travel to their secondary site in Whitchurch (although this is rare).
Both facilities specialise in agricultural manufacturing, maintaining bulk material processing equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical bias and experience working in production, manufacturing or industrial settings.
Mechanical knowledge is also highly beneficial.
Youll join a small, supportive team of engineers and occasionally oversee contractors on site.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position! What youll be doing Planned and reactive maintenance Work as part of a small engineering team, covering both electrical and mechanical repairs Maintain and repair machinery such as conveyors, elevators, mixers, conditioners, presses, extruders, motors, and PLCs etc Aim to maximise performance and reduce production downtime Identify faults and escalate major issues to site management Assist with machinery installations and upgrades Ensure a safe working environment across both sites Supporting capital expenditure and continuous improvement projects Upholding 5S standards in all work areas Hours Week 1: M-F 6:00am 14:00pm (Morning) Week 2: M-F 8:00am 17:00pm (Days) Week 3: M-F 14:00pm 22:00pm (Noons) Week 4: M-F 8:00am 17:00pm (Days) Pay £44,500 per annum Overtime available Skills/Experience Required Minimum 12 months of experience in an electrical maintenance role Electrically qualified (NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, 18th Edition or equivalent) Experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations Experience with PLCs Full UK Driving Licence essential Flexible to work across two sites and varied shift patterns Available for occasional on-call duties (rare) Benefits 37 days holiday (including bank holidays) Employee Assistance Programme support for a wide range of topics Private Medical Insurance Enhanced pension contributions after 12 months Personal and professional development opportunities Cycle to work scheme B&Q Trade Card 10% discount in-store and online Free on-site parking Training provided Overtime available Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
