We have partnered with a global Microsoft Security Solutions Partner + MISA Awards Finalist to build their Security Business Development and Account Management team in an exciting new strategy.
This company is a Microsoft-first security business, also offering wider vendor services, and is a member and finalist of the MISA awards. They focus on the larger SMC sector and Enterprise across multiple verticals, seeking motivated Security BDMs to support their growth.
Ideal candidates are those already in cybersecurity sales, especially managed security or PS consulting, with strong connections at Microsoft to facilitate sales.
Requirements include:
* Experience and understanding of MXDR and professional security services/consulting.
* Ability to leverage tools and credibility provided by the company, a MISA member and awards finalist, to succeed.
* Motivated, experienced new logo sellers interested in deepening their security expertise.
The company provides customer IP products, a global sales operation, and strong vendor relationships.
Managed Security Services include:
* Managed XDR
Professional Services/Consulting include:
* Cloud Security, Defender for Cloud/Entra/Intune
* Purview Compliance/Data Governance
* Security Copilot
Responsibilities:
* Grow business within new accounts.
* Build relationships with prospective clients and vendors, including Microsoft.
* Create and manage sales pipeline across security services, consulting, and presales.
* Maintain contact with existing clients.
* Track key metrics.
* Understand customer security postures and identify opportunities.
* Advise customers on security services and solutions using expert knowledge.
Key Experience:
* Full sales cycle experience with successful deal closures.
* Experience with Microsoft Managed and/or Professional Security Services.
* Knowledge of the Microsoft Security stack and other vendor solutions, including licensing models for MXDR, cloud, IAM, Purview, Copilot for Security.
* Proven ability to discuss solutions with customers.
* Ability to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets.
* Experience selling MXDR / MDR services.
* Security solutions into new customers, especially PS and MS.
* Experience with Microsoft or other security vendor services.
