Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a leading Further Education college in Northamptonshire to recruit a skilled and motivated Teacher of Engineering.

As a Teacher of Engineering, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant lessons across a range of engineering programmes. You will play a key role in developing learners' technical knowledge, practical skills and employability readiness.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality engineering lessons
* Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
* Supporting students to achieve academic and practical success
* Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback
* Monitoring and tracking learner progress
* Maintaining accurate records in line with quality standards
* Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and wider support teams

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:
* Experience or aptitude in coaching, tutoring or teaching
* The ability to confidently engage and manage groups of students
* Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Confidence using IT/ICT systems to support teaching and administration
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* A professional and student-focused approach
* GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or willingness to obtain)
* A relevant academic qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DTLLS or equivalent)
