The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for both motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to address technical and engineering challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing applications.
* Create detailed system architectures and specifications meeting product requirements.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop innovative solutions.
* Coordinate with external suppliers, evaluate and select components and technologies.
* Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure functionality and performance.
* Oversee delivery of prototypes and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, and software integration.
* Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
* Master’s degree in relevant fields.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
* Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
* Advanced CAD and mechanical design skills.
* Knowledge of control systems and theory.
