Facilities Assistant - Award winning Independent school located in the borough of Hounslow. The school is looking for a facilities assistant to start asap. The role is ad-hoc as the school restructures the Facilities department, with possible scope to become more frequent or permanent.
The school is an award-winning all-through Independent school located in the borough of Hounslow, approximately 10 minutes from the local tube station and bus stops, with onsite parking.
Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections of the school premises to identify maintenance needs.
* Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
* Ensure the security of the school buildings by managing access points and key distribution.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the school grounds, including litter picking and managing waste disposal.
* Set up furniture and equipment for school events and rearrange as required.
* Adhere to health and safety policies and report any concerns to the school management.
* Have an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
Requirements
To be considered for the role you will:
* Have the ability to carry out regular inspections and maintenance tasks.
* Be able to work flexibly in an ad-hoc capacity with potential for more frequent or permanent engagement.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
Salary: Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are that salary will depend on experience.
