Intermediate Electrical Estimator Location: Knutsford
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
Are you an Intermediate Electrical Estimator looking to progress your career within a rapidly growing Design & Build M&E contractor? Do you enjoy working on fast-paced projects? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.
You’ll be joining a well-established, client-focused building services contractor with over 20 years’ experience delivering high-quality M&E solutions on projects valued up to £5m. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to expand their estimating team.
Your New Role
1. Prepare accurate andpetitive electrical cost estimates
2. Analyse project drawings, specifications and tender documents
3. Liaise with clients, project managers, engineers and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical information
4. Produce detailed cost breakdowns for labour, materials and subcontractors
5. Attend pre- and post-tender meetings where required
What You’ll Need to Succeed
6. Proven experience in an estimating role producing costings (electrical or M&E preferred)
7. Strongmunication and organisational skills
8. Experience using Trimble
9. Ability to work on multiple projects and to tight deadlines
10. Full UK driving licence
