Job Summary
Elysium Healthcare – Interim Care Centre Director (St Neots Neurological Centre). Closing date: 12 June 2026.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the full clinical and operational teams, ensuring excellent care and that quality, regulatory and financial targets are met.
* Stabilise operational performance and drive quality improvements across the service.
* Plan and deliver the defined programme of project‑based improvements within a 6‑month timeframe, including service redesign, workforce optimisation, and pathway development.
* Act as Registered Manager in accordance with CQC expectations and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Develop and implement local strategy, quality improvement plans and business plans in partnership with the senior management team.
* Engage with Integrated Care Boards, Local Authorities and other partners to support service development and commercial opportunities.
* Promote and enhance the service’s reputation for specialist and high‑quality care.
* Prepare and oversee a seamless transition plan, ensuring robust processes, documentation and governance for hand‑over at end of the interim period.
Qualifications
* Excellent track record in healthcare or social care management (essential).
* Strong understanding of neurological services.
* Demonstrated focus on performance, delivery, budget control and business development.
* Credible, inclusive, supportive leadership style with ability to implement change rapidly.
* Strong knowledge of clinical and nonclinical operational activities within a health or care organisation.
* Working knowledge of neurological provision and ability to apply it to service improvement.
