We are at the final stages of the transfer of forestry buildings to our community for conversion into a community hub with adjacent workshop space. We are now seeking a self employed Development Officer with a wide range of community project management skills including working with the building trades in a clerk of works style role.

* The successful candidate will be engaged flexibly in the early stages with hours increasing, as the project develops, up to an anticipated 3 days per week.
* Their role will be to manage, implement and co-ordinate the early stages of the development of Cairnbaan Community Hub.
* This post is funded by the Scottish Land Fund for a period of up to a year.
* Payment will be made on submission of monthly invoices, based on a daily rate in the region of £250, including travel.
* The post is open to a person wishing to work both remotely and locally for two or three days a week, to be negotiated with the Board of Trustees, however they will be expected to have a visible presence in the village.
* This role will report directly to Colin Davies of the Trustee Board, who will act in a line-management role for the position.
