Due to the continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager in Chichester (Goodwood).
This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors, and Subcontractors.
Main duties:
* Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
* Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
* Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
* Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
* Ensure on-site delivery and compliance with EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, etc.
* Coordinate plant hire, tools, and labor on-site.
* Oversee and manage labor and subcontractors.
* Manage relevant external correspondence.
* Order all day-to-day site materials.
* Update appropriate information for progress reports.
* Maintain the K&M Document Management System.
* Manage project-specific scheduling.
* Communicate changes to the Project team.
* Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor/Project Manager or similar role.
* Experience managing teams.
* Successful track record in managing large projects.
* Computer literate with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel when required.
