JOB PURPOSE:
To support the Director of Property in all property, H&S and security matters on a mainly retailestate. The role will encompass a wide range of general practice activities including estate and asset management, acquisitions and cold-starts, leasehold and maintenance matters, and strategic property advice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist with site identification and acquisition of both off and on market opportunities
* Negotiate lease renewals, rent reviews and sociated professional work
* Build and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, agents and key external partners
* Support acquisitions and store development projects, from legal processes to on-the- groundexecution
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the estate supports operational excellence andcommercial success
* Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring our environments are safe, accessibleand compliant
* Identify and act on opportunities for estate rationalisation, expansion and value creation
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Driving licence
Flexible and adaptable. Comfortable with a varied workload and the ability to travel nationally withoccasional overnight stays
A sound understanding of UK property law
Good project management, planning and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
RICS qualified (or working towards it)
