We are looking for a detail-driven 3D Artist Team Leader to produce models and assets, bringing our airport simulations to life. This role will also involve leading a small team of remote working talented 3D Artists, working to project deadlines, managing workflow for the team ensuring outputs are of high quality. What You’ll Be Doing Designing realistic 3D airport environments using both commercial tools and Micro Nav’s proprietary systems Creating models of buildings, vehicles, aircraft, and characters with Autodesk 3ds Max Adding rich textures to models with Adobe Photoshop and Substance Painter Importing assets into the Imagine image generator for integration and testing Maintaining a well-organized subversion library of 3D assets Testing and validating airport models to ensure accuracy and quality Gathering and interpreting customer data to support model creation Developing lighting panels and other specialized visual elements Partnering with developers to define and test new features in BEST and Imagine Delivering engaging training sessions on 3D modelling for customers Representing the modelling team at project kick-off meetings Estimating effort for bids and proposals, keeping stakeholders informed Leading the team by managing schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring deadlines are met Technical Requirements Proficient in Autodesk 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Substance Painter, QGIS, Blender Essential Education & Experience Relevant degree level qualification Or 5 years minimum experience as a 3D Artist Good time management and planning skills Attention to detail Desirable Experience Experience of dealing with internal departments of mixed disciplines and personnel at all levels. Experience of geographic information system (GIS) software such as QGIS.
