Job Summary
Aspire People is currently seeking passionate and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to join our team, working on a day-to-day and short-term basis in secondary schools across St Albans and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexibility, variety, and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across year 7 to year 11, aligned with the National Curriculum
Follow pre-set lesson plans or provide appropriate cover work when needed
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with each school's policies
Mark students' work and leave detailed handover notes as required
Build positive relationships with staff and pupils at different schools
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (essential)
Prior teaching experience in UK secondary schools (preferred)
Confident and adaptable in different school settings
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
