The Role:
As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining strong communication between residents, our site teams, and client representatives during ongoing improvement works in the London region.
Youll be the main point of contact for residents, ensuring they are kept fully informed and supported throughout the works. Your responsibilities will include organising resident meetings, handling queries and complaints, managing expectations, and ensuring a smooth and respectful experience for all involved.
This is a field-based role that requires travel between sites. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main liaison between residents, site teams, and stakeholders
Communicate works schedules, progress, and changes via meetings, newsletters, and door-to-door visits
Support residents before, during, and after works including managing access and key handovers
Provide excellent aftercare and customer service, resolving issues promptly
Maintain accurate records of interactions and ensure timely updates to internal teams
Support community engagement initiatives and promote a positive presence on site
About You:
Experience in a similar resident liaison or customer engagement role, ideally within social housing, maintenance, or refurbishment projects
Excellent communication and people skills confident, diplomatic, and empathetic
Comfortable dealing with sensitive situations and resolving conflicts professionally
Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload across multiple locations
Resilient under pressure, with a strong sense of discretion and professionalism
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
