CNCMachinist, Weymouth, £27 per hour
Purpose
As a CNCMachinist, you will play a key role in producing precision-engineered components to meet exact customer specifications. Operating in a dynamic manufacturing environment, you will set and operate CNCs, inspect your own work, and contribute tomaintaininghigh-quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills while working with advanced tools and techniques in a highly specialised field.
The company have both day and night shifts available.
Day Shift – £18 per hour
Night Shift – £18 X 1.5(4 dayweek)

Responsibilities
As a CNCMachinist, your responsibilitieswill include:
* Setting and operating CNCmachines, some equipped with live tooling.
* Conducting in-process and final inspections using tools such asverniers,micrometers, SPGs, and PPGs.
* Maintaining total process control through regular inspections.
* Manufacturing components to customer specifications and quality standards based on engineering drawings.
* Recording,maintaining, and updating manufacturing process details on job cards.
* Carrying out preventative maintenance schedules for machines.
* Keeping the work environment safe, clean, and organized in line with 5S principles.
Skills and Experience
To succeed inthis CNC Machinist role,your skills and experience will include:
* Proficiencyin using Fanuc/ Heidenheimcontrol systems.
* Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar high-precision industry (preferred).
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and job cards.
* Skilled in setting andoperatingvarious machine tools.
* Strong PC literacy and a methodical approach to work.
