About the Role: As a key member of the site, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving product and process quality across the site. Acting as the link between Quality Control and Continuous Improvement, youll work both on the factory floor and with senior management to ensure robust quality standards and compliance are achieved throughout the operation. Key Responsibilities: Work with production teams to understand and educate ongoing process issues Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, specifications, and control plans for manufacturing processes and products. Lead 8D investigations for customer complaints, identifying and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. Perform and maintain FMEAs, process maps, and SOPs; ensure documentation remains current and effective. Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys. Analyse production data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities, utilising Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to embed sustainable process improvements. Provide training and coaching to operations teams on quality control procedures and continuous improvement practices. About You: Proven experience in a Process Improvement or Process Engineering role within manufacturing. A strong understanding of problem solving tools (SPC, FMEA, APQP, 8D) and experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma is highly desirable. Experience within automotive, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environments is advantageous and a formal engineering qualification is also required.
